Ryan Robinson Becomes Tidewater Performance Coach

Ryan Robinson, USAW

Tidewater Performance Coach Ryan Robinson has a passion: a passion for making a difference in people’s lives through education and preparation of their bodies to enhance their performance in life, work and sports.

Ryan played football for Middle Tennessee State University from 2004-2007. After graduating in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, he interned with the University of Texas Strength and Conditioning program under Coach Jeff Madden. While concentrating on football, throughout the internship, Ryan worked with multiple sports. He’s served as, among other  positions, a Coach for the LSU High School Football Camp and as an Assistant Football and Track Coach for Hyde Park Baptist Schools in Texas.

Before joining Tidewater Performance in 2012, Ryan was a personal trainer in Austin, Texas. He has extensive experience taking clients through one on one personalized work outs, drawing from his knowledge and experience in improving the strength and condition of Division I scholarship athletes.

Ryan has led small group workout training sessions and assisted with the management of an athletic club and developing specialized work outs to help develop muscular structure in areas of the body that clients were interested in improving on.

Ryan also believes in giving back to the community.

“I have done non-profit volunteer work with 4-H, Caring for Kids, Any Baby Can, and Angel Tree.  Through working with non-profits and sports camps I have learned how to deal with students on an individual basis.”

Ryan holds the following certifications: American Red Cross Standard First Aid, CPR/Adult and Child and Level 1 USA Weightlifting.
