You DO Have Time To Workout

Equipment inside the Tidewater Performance Center in Newport News is meant to get you the best, most functional, workout in the time you have.

The summer has been great, hasn’t it? Sweet-tea sipping lazy days on the water. The occasional low-humid day where you can hit the Noland Trail for a long hike or powered-up run. Sleeping in on the weekends. Saturday morning beach workouts.

Now that fall is getting closer and the kids are heading back to school, schedules will start to fill up with extracurricular activities and family events. Don’t let that impact your workouts, though.

If you have been working out, or even if you want to start, know this – YOU CAN GET IN A GOOD, HARD WORKOUT IN ONE HOUR OR LESS!

According to a recent Blog post on the Under Armour Combine 360 web site, “recommendations for the duration of a workout vary from discipline to discipline. Most effective workouts can be completed in 45-60 minutes. That includes time to foam roll, work on mobility, and perform an effective warm-up.”

It’s about optimizing your workout.

If you’re working out on your own and spending more than one hours in the gym, it’s probably too much, according to Combine 360.

And time, for most of us, is money.

“If you are serious about wanting to get better every day and want to train like the best,” work with a Certified Under Armour Combine 360 Trainer.

Tidewater Performance Center’s personal and sports performance trainer, Ruth Middleton, received her certification this summer and is already using Under Armour’s revolutionary training methods, which are backed by current science.

Those methods are carried over to personal training, semi-private training and the small group training sessions.
