Recovering from meniscus surgery, it’s been important for me to take rehab seriously. I did my physical therapy at Tidewater. As I would warm up, I’d notice that many of the folks working out with the trainers in the Performance Center were basically my age – not always the elite athletes I had thought trained there. My therapist recommended training with Tidewater, even after my rehab had ended, to safely regain my past level of fitness before my injury. Everyone is so friendly, professional and encouraging. Our trainer, Lori, knows just how to challenge us to muscle fatigue, but not injury. The workouts with her and in the group classes coached by Danielle and Ryan are so varied, you never become bored. My goal to be able to hike safely, without pain, has been met in about 8-9 months of work. Now my husband and I are working through other physical goals of agility, endurance and weight loss…working to stay active and fit for the rest of our lives. – Deni Lewis

The personal, individualized attention and instruction has dramatically improved my fitness. Danielle is the best! –Lisa Casanova, M.D.
Tidewater Performance makes the “agony” of working out more challenging and enjoyable. In large part, the enjoyment is due to the individual attention given by my trainer, but also due to the positive, challenging atmosphere fostered by all the trainers. – James M. Mullins III, MD
I have Type 1 Diabetes and scheduled an appointment with Tidewater Performance to help me find my motivation again. An appointment with Danielle had me feeling inspired to keep my health a priority. She was enthusiastic, knowledgeable of my disease, and kind – exactly what I needed at that moment to jump start me into a more healthy lifestyle. – Isobel Bishop
